The Honorable Federal Commissioner in collaboration with the Director General of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mustapha Habib Ahmed inaugurated the focal team on Internally Displaced Persons. The main objective of the focal team is to develop modalities for improved service delivery with a focus on mapping out and sharing responsibilities between both agencies to avoid duplication of efforts and eliminate unnecessary waste of scare resources while providing care and feeding of IDPs in the country. In the HFC’s remarks, she said “the coming together of our Agencies represents the recognition that only through the collective and collaborative efforts of all the stakeholders can we truly provide effective and sustainable care and support to all Persons of Concern”.
